Dermaplaning

30 mins

£35

Overview

Dermaplaning is the secret to super-soft, rejuvenated skin and one of the easiest ways of removing unwanted hair from the face. Not only does this quick, non-invasive exfoliation treatment help to regenerate your skin, but it will leave you with a polished canvas that allows a deeper absorption of product and make-up that will glide onto skin that positively glows.

What Does Dermaplaning Involve?

Dermaplaning involves using a special surgical steel blade, also known as a scalpel, to gently remove dead skin cells and the vellus hair, or ‘peach fuzz’, from your face and neck. Held at a 45-degree angle, the dermaplaning tool gently scrapes away facial hair and helps rid the skin of a build-up of dead skin cells, which contribute to making the complexion dull and the tone uneven. Skin is left smooth, soft, and radiant, with fewer lines and a more youthful, brighter appearance.

This non-invasive and pain-free treatment will include a consultation and skin analysis, where we will identify your skin needs and discuss your goals, allowing us to assemble a bespoke treatment tailored to your skin type and concerns.

Dermaplaning

Glow Dermaplaning Facial | 1 hour | £60
Introduction

Say goodbye to a dull, uneven complexion with our Glow Dermaplaning Facial, which will leave your skin looking instantly healthier and brighter. Dead skin cells and ‘peach fuzz’ are removed, and pores are unclogged, leaving it so flawless that your skin will glow naturally, and makeup will glide on effortlessly. What does a Glow Dermaplaning involve? Our Glow Dermaplaning Facial starts with a double cleanse and tone. We will then embark on a process of ozone steaming and manual/ultrasonic extractions. This softens the skin and removes blackheads and pimples before the rest of the treatment begins. The next step is to apply a professional toner to help balance your skin and a balm or degrease potion application ready for your dermaplaning experience. We then use a special dermaplaning blade, also known as a scalpel, to gently remove dead skin cells and the vellus hair, or ‘peach fuzz’, from your face and neck. As the dermaplaning primes the skin to absorb topical products better, a clay mask bespoke to your skin will be applied. We complete the treatment with a serum, then apply a moisturising SPF to protect your skin.

We use steam to soften your skin, ready for the manual/ultrasonic extraction of blocked pores, blackheads, and sebum, followed by a balancing toner. The balm or degrease potion application is then followed by a full face and neck professional dermaplane, which manually removes dead skin cells and encourages the skin to continue the shedding process naturally. Once your skin is clear and refreshed, we will apply a mask tailored to your skin. While the mask works its magic, you can relax with your choice of an Indian head or neck and shoulder massage. Let your tensions slip away with this stress-relieving massage, designed to stimulate the senses and relax the mind. Now wonderfully relaxed, you will be treated to 10 minutes of skin-rejuvenating LED light therapy, and meditation music, followed by a specially chosen serum.
