One of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world, chemical peels are among the most popular & widely recognised methods of improving the health & appearance of the skin by removing dead skin cells. Unveil a fresh, even & luminous complexion and encourage skin cell regeneration with a targeted Clinicare superficial peel.
What can be treated with skin peels?
- Sensitive & Acne prone
- Skin tone & enlarged pores – Sun damage
- Ageing, fine lines & wrinkles
- Uneven skin tone & Texture
Applied to the surface of the skin to treat the epidermis and/or dermis. This action chemically loosens dead & damaged skin cells causing exfoliation. Chemical peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and minimal downtime.
The 3 Main Home Care Ranges:
GLOW – Melasma, hyperpigmentation, sun-damaged & de-hydrated skin – Arbutin is the active ingredient which is a natural skin lightener
PURE – Blemishes, acne and sensitive skin such as rosacea – The main ingredients contain anti-bacterial, anti-microbial properties & natural antiseptic through green tea extract
REFRESH – Fine lines, wrinkles & skin rejuvenation – Contains vitamins A, C and E, and the co-enzyme Q10 to fight premature ageing.
All of the home care 3 steps products contain:
- Powerful Anti-Oxidants to fight free radicals and each range has its own unique plant & fruit extracts/ active ingredients.
- The Lowest Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid – Which is naturally occurring in the body, which declines over time thus wrinkles become more visible. It maximises collagen levels to keep the skin supple and keeps collagen synthesis up, as well as retaining skin moisture (holding up to 1,000 times its weight in moisture) Contributing to the anti-ageing benefits to the skin.
- sh-oligopeptide-1 (EGF) – That has the identical chemical structure to an epidermal growth factor and has been shown to increase the rate of healing and renewal of the skin, as well as slow the thinning of ageing skin, thus minimising wrinkles.
- Synthetic Proteins as opposed to animal, so less likelihood of allergic reactions.
- CLINICCARE is 100% Vegan – Not tested on animals and free of animal
What does a Chemical Peel involve?
CLEANSE – To prep your skin we start with a double cleanse, gently removing sebum & makeup/SPF residue, leaving the skin fresh and product free.
EXFOLIATION – We then apply the instant painless peel which is an enzymatic peeling gel that gently exfoliates to unclog blocked pores & remove the top layer of dead skin cells, leaving the skin silky soft helping to prepare for the application of the peel and create a more even penetration.
TONE – Leftover residue is removed with our Toner which contains a very high concentration of low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid to promote cellular regeneration and deeply hydrate.
DISINFECT – The skin is disinfected to ensure any remaining oils or impurities are wiped away, allowing for optimum penetration & effect.
SUPERFICIAL PEEL – The chosen targeted peel to suit your skin concerns will now be applied, this penetrates the Stratum corneum & epidermis to encourage regeneration & rejuvenation of new skin cells. Resulting in an improved clinical appearance of skin with fewer lines, a brighter complexion, improved skin tone & a more youthful appearance.
NOURISH – The Clinicare AHA+EGF Skin booster is applied boosting the skin with a mixture of five different Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), powerful antioxidants to fight free radicals & Epidermal Growth Factors to boost skin cell regeneration & helps the skin to heal without visible desquamation.
RESTORE – We now apply a chosen targeted soothing & rejuvenating facial sheet mask to help restore the skin’s moisture & reduce any redness & irritation.
LED – Using a different combination of coloured LED Lights, each of which represents a different wavelength and has its own benefits. This rejuvenates and repairs the skin leaving it brighter and revitalised.
PROTECT – Serum if required & SPF is applied to protect the skin against harmful UVA & UVB rays.
To optimise and maintain skin health between treatments, we recommend the Clinicare daily home care regime (you can pre-order from Icon Inspire Beauty) which contains low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins and peptides with Epidermal Growth.
